Strategically located just outside of Djibouti City, afridata Technology Park is a mix-use development with digital innovation at its core. This is a unique facility that leverages strong infrastructure and transport links to promote job creation and skills development. The Park is powered by renewable energy and boasts world-class connectivity thanks to our sister-company afrifiber. It is fully managed, with a Tier III Data Centre and over 5 hectares of GLA spread over commercial, residential and leisure facilities.
Powered by renewable Solar energy, low-impact construction methods, efficient water management systems and green architecture principles, the park will harvest natural resources.
We will power communities and contribute towards a sustainable, green economy.
afridata will assist the WBG Digital Economy for Africa (DE4A) flagship initiative to support the digital transformation strategy for Africa prepared by the African Union (AU). The DE4A initiative recognizes that the digital economy can help accelerating the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the World Bank Group’s twin goals.
Together with afridata, afrifiber believes that our joint initiatives and establishment of afridata Technology Park will create a regional hub for digital technology, strongly aligning with his Excellency President Ismail Omar Guelleh’s vision for SmartAfrica.
