
William Ningayo Karyom is an accomplished banking and finance professional with 15 years of experience in internal control, risk management, and financial oversight across both the banking and telecommunications sectors.
He previously served as Head of the Internal Control Department at Société Générale Tchad where he oversaw fraud investigations, strengthened compliance risk management through risk mapping, and prepared regulatory reports for the Bank Regulatory Authority of Central Africa (COBAC).
Before joining Société Générale, he spent over nine years at Airtel Chad in progressive roles, first as Decision Support & Financial Analyst Assistant Manager, and later as Business Planning & Analyst. In these roles, he managed financial forecasting, budgeting, performance analysis, and reporting. He worked closely with cross-functional teams in marketing, sales, and customer service to support decision-making, develop profitable offerings, and drive cost optimization and efficiency across the business.
William holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration and Management, both from Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar, Senegal, as well as a DEUG in Economics from Université Gaston Berger of Saint-Louis, Senegal.
In addition, he has completed specialized certifications, including a Banking Professions Training Certification from the BSIC Group Banking Training Center in Bamako, Mali, and an Advanced English Certificate from the Center of Language and Professional Studies (CELPS) in Accra, Ghana.
