Mamoon is a seasoned investment professional with over 14 years of experience across high-yield MENA and emerging market Eurodollar debt, FX, money market products, equities, and a diverse range of plain vanilla and exotic FX and commodity derivatives.

Before joining iib, Mamoon spent more than eight years at JS Bank Ltd. Bahrain. There, he was instrumental in building the Treasury function from the ground up and established a proprietary investment book exceeding USD 100 million. He also cultivated key business relationships with financial institutions in the UAE, Bahrain, and the UK, significantly expanding the Bank’s investment reach. In 2024, Mamoon served as Acting Treasurer for JS Bank Ltd Pakistan, where he oversaw a multi-billion dollar investment book and provided strategic recommendations to the Asset Liability Committee on asset/liability management, liquidity management, and fund transfer pricing.

Mamoon is a CFA charter holder and holds an MBA and a BBA in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi.
